Exterior Work

Painting the outside of a building is very important maintenance to carry out to your home. Not only does a well decorated home look clean and tidy, but it also protects the building from the elements, this in turn can keep the cost of large repair bills down.

I normally carry out exterior work between March and October, British weather dependant! I have decorated children’s play sheds to hotels and all sized houses in between. A standard job would have the following work carried out:

Wall areas washed with an anti-fungal wash and power washed.

Gutters and down pipes cleaned out, washed and repaired as needed.

UPVC washed and cleaned.

Woodwork filled, rubbed down, primed undercoated, glossed and/or wood stain applied.

Cracked glass replaced.

Old flaking putty removed and new applied.

Wall areas painted.

Fascia boards and soffits painted.

Windows (including sash) doors and frame works painted.

Gates and railings prepared and painted.

Glass cleaned once all painting has been completed.
